Whether you are planning a wedding, holding a large garden party, or organising a local flower festival or trade show, you need to ensure that you are covered for all possible events that may spoil the enjoyment of you and your guests when the big day arrives.
The Event Scheme has brought together a panel of leading UK special events insurance brokers and Lloyds brokers to find you event insurance cover, so that as the event organiser you can sleep easy, whatever the weather, and enjoy the event.
Cover can be arranged for Organisers, Exhibitors/Stallholders and Small Groups and will cover the following:

and much more. Please contact us to see if your event can be covered under our list of policies.
Also available is cover for Exhibitors and Stallholders: whether you are going to a Craft Fair or a Jumble Sale, a Flea Market or a Flower Show you can arrange your event cover with us.
Insurance cover for Small Groups running a Coffee Morning or similar activities can be quoted for and purchased also.
Public Liability includes £1 million, £2 million or £5 million levels of cover. It will cover you against accidental bodily injury of those attending the event and damage to 3rd party property.
While public liability is of major concern when setting up an event, organizers of any type of event should be reminded that additional cover may also be required, for example all staff, whether volunteers, casual or fully employed, are legally deemed to be 'employees' and therefore employers’ liability cover must also be arranged.
An Employer's Liability Cover of £10,000,000 protects your legal liability, which includes compensation costs, claimants costs and expenses for accidental bodily injury to anyone you employ at the event, be it temporary staff, volunteers or helpers whether paid or unpaid.
Cancellation Cover protects you the organiser if an occurrence beyond your control forces the event to be cancelled.
Such occurrences may include natural disasters/extreme weather, damage to or loss of availability of the venue, non-appearance of key performers, outbreaks of disease and many other occurrences which are otherwise not excluded. Please contact us for further information.
